Common Hitachi problems

Hitachi AC light blinking and AC not starting

When an AC detects a fault, the indoor unit shows a code or blinks a light. Note the code or the number of blinks before you call; it helps us diagnose quickly.

Hitachi window AC making loud noise

Usually a loose fan blade, worn fan motor bearings or a vibrating panel. Compressor noise is checked separately.

Hitachi AC outdoor fan not running

If the outdoor unit hums but its fan doesn't spin, the fan capacitor or motor has usually failed. Running without the fan can overheat the compressor, so switch the AC off and book a check.

Water dripping from Hitachi indoor unit

The drain pipe is usually blocked or the unit isn't level. A jet-pump service clears the drain tray and pipe.

Please contact Hitachi first. Repair by an outside technician may affect Hitachi's warranty.

What do I pay if I don't go ahead with the repair?

You pay only the ₹350 visit charge, which covers the inspection. If you go ahead with the repair, there is no visit charge.

Which spare parts do you use?

We use quality spare parts. Before the repair we tell you which part is needed and its price, and we fit it only after you approve.

Can you come the same day?

Same-day visits are often possible when you book before {CUTOFF_TIME}, subject to technician availability. We'll confirm the time when you book.
