This policy explains what personal data Repair Service India ("we", "us") collects when you use this website or book a repair, why we collect it, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who we are

Repair Service India, Shop No. 04, Ganesh Lane, Kherwadi, Bandra East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400051. Udyam Registration No.: UDYAM-MH-19-0474845. We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect

  • Booking form: your name, mobile number, the appliance you need repaired and, on brand pages, the brand.
  • Calls and WhatsApp: your phone number and anything you tell us about the repair, such as your address and the problem.
  • During the visit: your address, appliance details, the quote, the work done and payment details shown on the invoice.
  • Technical data: our web host's servers automatically record your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site working.

We do not ask for sensitive data such as bank passwords, ID documents or health information.

3. Why we use it

  • To contact you, confirm the visit and send a technician to your address.
  • To prepare your quote and invoice and keep a record of the work.
  • To answer your questions and handle complaints.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

We use your booking details only for these purposes. We do not sell them, and we do not use them for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

  • Our technicians, who need your name, number and address to visit you.
  • Our website host (Hostinger), where the website and booking emails are stored.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
  • Google Fonts, which delivers the website's fonts and icons and receives your IP address when the page loads.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads, when switched on, receive information about your visit (pages viewed, device, approximate location) through cookies, to measure visits and the results of our ads, and to show our ads to past visitors. We never send them your name, phone number or booking details. See our Cookie Policy for how to opt out.
  • Authorities, if the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Booking details are kept for up to 24 months after your last booking, so we can help with follow-up questions. Invoices are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. After that, data is deleted.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (unless we must keep it by law). You can withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time. You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights for you. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

The website uses HTTPS. Access to booking data is limited to the people who need it to arrange your repair.

8. Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
